Future of Fitness Features Tammy Lynn January 2003

"Originally I started exercising to have an attractive body, but now what motivates me is how I feel - exercise makes me feel great," says this 5-foot-4, 123-pound gal. Staying in super shape not only give Tammy Lynn a physique she is proud of, but it also gives her confidence to do anything. For instance, she didn't think she'd get to a national fitness competition, but with hard work and determination Tammy Lynn placed in both the 2001 and 2002 WTF Vegas competitions. Tammy Lynn says she sculpts her body by training with heavy weights (three to five times a week). "Although weight training is what keeps me in shape, my favorite actively is mountain biking - it's exercise for the soul," she says. When Tammy Lynn's not at work or in the gym, you'll probably find her digging in the dirt - she adores gardening.
